Bassy’s Barn is a family run small holding, run exclusively for the use of SEND children and their families.

Our aim is to give the experience of a petting farm, without the challenges of overstimulation faced by highly sensitive children. We have miniature farm animals, in a quiet, safe, and secluded setting.

As a community organisation, SEND children attend free of charge.
A small fee is charged for groups, dementia, and stroke guests. Every contribution makes a difference in keeping our farm running.

Each session is one-to-one and personalised to the needs of each booking, therefore we work on a ‘one booking at a time’ policy.

The farm is not open to the public.

To enable flexibility for a time suitable to each family, we are open for visits 6 days a week (closed Wednesdays) from 11am until dusk.
